YU Yureka S smartphone with 3GB RAM listed for Rs12999

Micromax launched an online-only subsidiary called YU in 2014, in order to take on the likes of Xiaomi and Motorola. Its first smartphone was the Yureka, and since then the company has launched a host of devices, with the most recent being the Yunicorn. But the company has moved beyond its online-only model and its smartphones are now available offline as well. In fact, the company recently stated that it expects about 50 percent of its sales to happen via offline channels. Now, YU has quietly unveiled a new smartphone in India, called Yureka S. As the name suggests, this is basically a newer version of YU’s first smartphone with a slightly better set of features and specifications. The YU Yureka S is currently listed on the company’s website with a price tag of Rs 12,999, and it will be available in black color. There is, however, no word when or where the new smartphone is set to go on sale.U has listed a new handset the Yureka S on their official website with a price tag of Rs. 12,999. The YU Yureka S is a snapdragon 615 powered hybrid dual SIM handset packed with 3GB RAM.  This smartphone sports a 5.2 inch FHD screen.

FEATURES and SPECIFICATIONS

The Yureka S flaunts a 5.2-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) display with 423ppi and Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded using a microSD card. On the photography front, the Yureka S is equipped with a 13-megapixel snapper with OV13850 PureCel Camera Chip, f/2.2 aperture and support for HDR. Up front is a 5-megapixel selfie snapper with f/2.2 aperture and 84 degrees wide-angle lens.Additional features are Yamaha amplifier, noise cancellation MIC, Wolfson Pure sound, 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth.  There is a 3000 mAh battery that as per the company gives up to 9 hours of talk time and supports quick charge 1.0.It is a bit strange to see YU go along with the Snapdragon 615 SoC, which is not only old but doesn’t have the best thermal performance either. In addition to the all-metal unibody design, the Redmi Note 3 boasts a fingerprint scanner at the back. It also features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 hexa-core processor, 32GB internal storage, 16-megapixel rear snapper with f/2.0 aperture and PDAF support, and a bigger 4,000mAh battery. The smartphone is priced at Rs 11,999.
The LeEco Le 2 also features a combination of metal body and a fingerprint scanner at the back. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 octa-core processor, 32GB internal storage (no microSD card slot though), 13-megapixel snapper with PDAF support, and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone is also priced at Rs 11,999.
Lenovo’s ZUK Z1 maybe a bit more expensive with a price tag of Rs 13,499, but it also offers more value for money. It too boasts a metal body with a fingerprints scanner embedded into physical home button up front. It also comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 processor, a 4,100mAh battery, and a 13-megapixel primary camera with support for optical image stabilization (OIS).

I personally donot feel that it will give any competiton to redmi note 3 and le 2.

Why YU always  launched these. YU doesnot see what the competiton is. Its only aims is to launch these phones.

Asus Zenfone 3 Laser is a budget smartphone which was announced in Vietnam in mid-July. Asus Zenfone 3 Laser has an ultra-fast 0.03 second laser autofocus, which is also the USP of the device. It features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D arc glass. Asus Zenfone 3 Laser gets a 13MP rear image sensor from Sony coupled with electronic image stabilisation. There’s 4GB RAM on-board and 32GB internal storage. The smartphone is priced at Rs 18,999.

The notebook also supports Windows Hello feature. Asus is promising up to 9 hours of battery life for the ZenBook 3. Asus Zenbook 3 is priced at Rs 1,44,990.

Asus Tranformer 3 Pro supports WiFi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1. Asus Tranformer 3 Pro also comes with universal dock, ROG Station 2, Audio Pod and Asus Pen out of the box.
Now Asus wants to become Samsung and Apple. I donot understand that why they keep their pricing on a heavier side. Why people consider zenfone 3 if they have better options like Redmi Note 3 or Le 2.Yes it is true that  Zenfone 3 Deluxe is the first device to launch with Snadragon 821 and 256 GB of internal storage.

Meizu to reportedly launch a new smartphone on September 3-

Meizu is preparing for the launch of yet another smartphone in September. A teaser has been leaked over Chinese microblogging site that reads “Pro than Pro” and “true flagship fingertips.” The smartphone is set to launch on September 3 in China. Meizu had launched the Pro 6 in April, so the
forthcoming smartphone might be its successor, the Meizu Pro 7 or Pro 6 Pro.

Recently an alleged Meizu flagship passed AnTuTu benchmarking running Samsung’s Exynos 8890 chipset. The listing revealed a QHD display, 12-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera. The smartphone will come with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory. The smartphone is said to run Android Marshmallow 6.0.1.
We have also come across rumors of Meizu working on its smartwatch. Recently a leaked image had surfaced online that showed the back of the smartwatch. It carries a Meizu logo on its back along with two physical buttons on the side. Besides the design, earlier rumors have also hinted that the device could be powered by Intel’s Rockchip RK6321 dual-core Cortex A5 processor.
The smartwatch was expected to launch in the August 10 event when Meizu launched the M3E, but apparently it has been delayed. We can however expect the smartwatch to launch with the Pro series smartphone on September 3.

For moderate usage with WhatsApp, calling and texting, listening to music and surfing the internet, we did not face any problems. Neither did the device heat up. One charge was sufficient for almost one-and-half days with normal usage which is quite good.

This is a best phone and what can we get at rs 251 in today's world.

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 leaked render hints at dual-camera setup and curved display-

Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is one of the most anticipated smartphones in the second half of 2016. Analyst Pan Juitang has revealed that we could meet this new flagship as soon as this month, but as of now, we haven’t heard any official smartphone launch event in August. However, the rumors and leaks have painted a very powerful image of the Mi Note 2 flagship, with features such as dual cameras, curved screen display and Snapdragon 821 chip inside. Now, if you were wondering how the Mi Note 2 would look like with these features, then you are in luck as a few fan-made renders of the device have just been spotted on some images.

The Mi Note 2 renders seem to use the same 3D glass body of the Mi5, adding the dual cameras at the back and a curved display as revealed by recent rumors. In fact, a few days back, we even got to see the alleged dual curved display panel of the Mi Note 2, revealing its slight resemblance to Galaxy Note 7’s design. Looks like these renders were made taking all these information into consideration and to be honest, the maker has done a fine job of making the Mi Note 2 look premium and flagship worthy. In fact, these renders could be close to what the new Xiaomi flagship could look like, although we haven’t seen it in real life to confirm this yet.

The Mi Note 2 render shows a design that is not a lot different than the Mi 5. The front has a curved glass display along with a rectangular home button. The render also shows the speakers located at the bottom of the phone along with a USB Type-C port. The back of the phone has a glass body,  and the highlight is camera setup at the back that includes two camera lenses along with a dual-tone flash at the top left corner.

SPECIFICATIONS-

The mi note 2 will have a flaunt QHD 5.7inch display. It will be powered by snapdragon 821 processors. It is expected that mi note 2 will come in three variants-32GB[4GB],64GB[6GB],128GB[6GB].

It is expected that it will come with 4000mah battery with quick charge 3.0,dual camera setup,16 megapixel camera. connectivity options includes ultrasonic fingerprint sensor on the front and NFC.

Redmi 3s Prime review

Redmi 3s prime review
Xiaomi launched the Redmi 3S and the Redmi 3s prime. This is the Redmi 3S Prime review, there is not much of a difference between the Redmi 3S and the 3S Prime, apart from the price, RAM/ROM and fingerprint sensor.
Inside the Box
When you unbox the package ,you will find the handset, SIM tray ejector pin, data cable, user guide, warranty card and travel charger (5V/2A). Earphone is not included. SAR value : 0.617W/Kg (head) and 0.429W/Kg (body).
Design
In terms of design. there is very little to differentiate between the Redmi 3s Prime and the Redmi Note 3. If you ignore the difference in the placement of the front facing camera and sensors on top of the display or that of the rear camera and flash, it is pretty much a compact version of the Redmi Note 3. The metal body is curved at the edges, which makes it quite slippery but the compact size ensures that it fits well in the hand.
When we first saw the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime, it looked like a mini Redmi Note 3 from nearly every angle. Xiaomi phones have started to look quite similar in design. For the company, this might be a way to establish a linear look throughout its product portfolio but sadly this is what Samsung did few years ago with its Galaxy smartphones, and we weren't fans of that move for long. If I were to nitpick, xiaomi seems to have discarded their idea of design symmetry where the camera lens, flash and fingerprint sensor were in one line bang in the center of the phone. Xiaomi had made a big deal about it in the redmi note 3 but somehow forgot about it in the Redmi 3s Prime. Having said that, there is no doubt that the Redmi 3s Prime is one of the most premium smartphones in the sub-Rs 10,000 price bracket, just like the Redmi Note 3. The speaker grille is at the bottom of the back. The physical buttons for volume and power are on the right, while the hybrid SIM slot is on the left. The phone accepts one Micro-SIM and another Nano-SIM or microSD card for storage. Unfortunately, this means that users will have to choose between a second SIM and a microSD card.
There is an infrared emitter and a 3.5mm audio jack on the top. The bottom has a standard Micro-USB port and a microphone. The Redmi 3S Prime sports an all-metal body which means that the device itself feels premium regardless of the price tag it carries. At 144 grams, the Redmi 3S is slightly heavy for a budget device, but the curved sides make it easy to grip. The extra weight can safely be put down to the massive battery inside the smartphone.
Screen is 5 inches supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Color reproduction, viewing angles and touch response are just great. It is not mentioned if the screen comes with any protection, but screen is scratch resistant to some minor extent. If you have a history of damaging screen then it would be better if you use a screen guard. However, it doesn’t come with any significant protection, though Xiaomi says that it has some protection from multiple vendors. During my usage I didn’t manage to scratch the display but it would be a good idea to get a tempered glass or a screen protector.
There is LED notification below the dedicated button on the front and you can select a color from the list. The dedicated button do not light up. This handset is packed with Accelerometer, gyro, magnetic, hall, step, light and proximity sensors.
Redmi 3S / 3S prime is running MIUI 7 based on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1.which is another a reason for buying it.
RAM AND ROM
Now depending on the model – on 3S you get 2GB RAM and 16GB eMMC 5.0 ROM. On the 3S Prime there is 3GB RAM and 32GB eMMC 5.1 ROM. OTG is supported. On the first boot (3S Prime) you will get around 1.9GB free RAM and around 22 GB free space. User can use micro SD card of up to 128GB.
OR
Under the hood, the Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime both pack the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 (MMB29) processor, with four cores clocked at 1.1GHz and four cores at 1.4GHz, plus an integrated Adreno 505 GPU. Apart from the fingerprint sensor, the only differences between the Xiaomi Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime are the amounts of RAM and storage. The Redmi 3S features 2GB of RAM with 16GB of inbuilt storage, while the Redmi 3S Prime has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage.
Performance
The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime sets a standard for other smartphones in the same price band. We didn't face any lags while multitasking on this device, and there were no noticeable frame rate drops while playing games like Dead Trigger 2.
Apps loaded quickly and the screen responded to touches without any complaints. The only issue that we faced was occasional restarts while running benchmarks, which is a repetition of what happened during the review of the Redmi Note 3. There was no heating while charging the phone or talking on calls. The phone did heat up a bit while using the camera app, but it never became too uncomfortable to use. We encountered no issues while talking for long hours on the phone.
We did try using the fingerprint scanner on the Redmi 3S Prime with wet fingers and it worked without refusing to recognise prints even once. We were impressed with the speed of fingerprint recognition.
SOUND
The quality of sound through the speaker at the back of the handset was impressive, except that it went flat at maximum volume with no stereo effect. We did check the quality of music through our own wired earphones and we were not disappointed. There are plenty of tweaking options for music lovers.

CAMERA
The camera is nothing worth writing home about either. The front facing 5-megapixel camera gives out grainy results under most lighting conditions. The rear 13-megapixel camera is slightly better, but it isn’t something that you would get printed. Well, who does that anyway these days. Photos in low light conditions are grainy again and even in good lighting come out to be soft when zoomed in. It seems good camera sensors haven’t yet percolated to entry-level smartphones. And that’s really a pity for smartphones like the Redmi 3s Prime.Camera quality is above average.
OTHERS
The Redmi 3S / 3S Prime supports 4G LTE with VoLTE. Sound (speaker / in-call) is loud and clear. I did not face any network issues. 4G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth worked well.
There is IR blaster on the front you can use that to control other electronic items like AC, TV etc. The finger print sensor on the back is also pretty fast and accurate. You can unlock directly using finger print sensor, just tap the sensor.
DIFFERENCE AND VERDICT
The Redmi 3S Prime no doubt is a very good handset with a very good price tag, however it does not come with fast charging support and the Snapdragon 430 hardware is not as powerful as the Snapdragon 650 hardware redmi note 3  is using.
Redmi 3S prime cannot play 4K videos smoothly, Redmi Note 3 can. Also when you compare the benchmarks there is a good difference. Having said that the 3S is still a very good buy, you will hardly notice any difference in performance with you daily usage though technically Note 3 is powerful.
The only criteria when deciding between the Redmi 3S and the Redmi Note 3 should be the screen size – you decide if you want a handset with 5 inch screen or 5.5 inch screen.
There is not much off a price difference between the 3S Prime and the Note 3 (2GB), makes sense to go for Redmi Note 3, however the Redmi 3S without finger print sensor for Rs. 6,999 is excellent buy in case you ignore the finger print sensor.
